Purpose. Passion. Hope. How can ASKIA Learning Concept assist with student achievement using Rigor and Grade Level Equivalent Benchmarks, to meet the NCLB 2014 objectives?

ASKIA Learning Concept (ALC) views rigor as a new form of progressive education for teaching and learning. This has a vertical impact on students' aggregated data. The new rigor requires the benchmarks to provide more multi-step problem solving, critical thinking, open ended questions, inferences, conclusion drawing and the use of prior knowledge.

Turning exceptional minds into critical thinkers.ASKIA Learning Concept is a Divergent, Interdisciplinary, Thematic Critical Thinking Skills Program set inside a Geododecahedron Curriculum Process. This methodology provides a creative, structured plan for the use of resource stations. ASKIA Resource Stations allow the teacher to introduce and implement the ASKIA Interdisciplinary Thematic Learning Concept. The concept reinforces inductive/deductive reasoning/logic, qualitative, and quantitative learning. The ASKIA Geododecahedron is the framework of the ASKIA Learning Concept Strategies: Geo- study of the world; do- two, deca- ten, hedron- sides/faces. It provides curricula windows with a global perspective. The program is designed as a twelve-sided polygon with twelve dimensions or avenues to acquire the blue chip skills and processes necessary for developing critical thinkers. The divergent critical thinking process provides us with the foundation from which we meet our students' needs and expand their successes in the classroom and beyond.
