22 Weeks of Interdisciplinary Cross Content Critical Lesson Plans
A detailed listing of lesson plans that incorporate various ALC Instructional Strategies will be provided. ALC follows Madeline Hunter’s lesson plan module, including a clear instructional objective, center instructions, and assessments to accompany each lesson.
Writing Students will take a phrase and let a ingenious stance take hold and construct a meaningful story full of details and content from that one phrase.
Example: ...the sound of the storm ran a jolt of electricity through...
Objective: Students will determine who, what, when, where, why, and how of the story. Using literary terms such as; metaphors, analogies, similes, synonyms, etc., each student will create their own fairy-tale/reality, full of mystery
and prose.
Research Project Kit This research project is a resource used to build upon the prior knowledge of the learner. Providing manipulatives, the learner will be expected to use various items within the kit to complete the tasks outlined in each project.
Modeling All information will be modeled and scaffold to meet the academic needs of each learner.
